The 1957 Corvette was the second and final year of the second body
style of the Corvette. This is considered one of the "most" classic body
styles of the marque, being the first body style with the side 'scallops'
associated with the Corvette from 1956 - 1962.
This kit is moulded in white, with red plastic side and interior
pieces. There were no fit problems assembling this kit, which was not a
suprise. No glue is needed, just a screwdriver. You can glue the bits
together if you desire, but most fit together snugly. As in all these
kits, the doors open and the wheels turn with the steering wheel. This is
at the cost of some detail, but it works well.
Kits such as these are great for building up a little collection,
building something "on the road," and/or getting kids into the hobby.
They're worth the money, to me, and they're a fun, easy diversion.
